Great revenge for Real Madrid Fifa Best Awards, in Doha. After having deserted the ceremony of Ballon d’Or 2024 which he saw triumph Rodrithe Merengues take home the two most important prizes in Qatar. The Los Blancos striker wins the award as best player of 2024 Vinicius Jr (Brazil) who received the award on the eve of the final of Intercontinental Cup between Real Madrid and Mexicans Pachuca. Last season, Vinicius led Real Madrid to victory in the Champions League.
Ancelotti best coach 2024
Carlo Ancelotti he instead won the Fifa Best Awards as best coach of 2024 having led Real Madrid to victory in the Champions League. “It is a great honor to receive this award, I want to share it with my club Real Madrid and my president Florentino Perez which gave me the opportunity to coach the best club in the world. But I also want to share it with my players who don’t always listen to me. I also thank my family and my staff”, declared Ancelotti from the stage in Doha receiving the award from Arsene Wenger.
Martinez best goalkeeper awarded by Gigi Buffon
Emiliano Martinez (Argentina and Aston Villa) was awarded best goalkeeper of 2024 at the Fifa Best Awards. Gigi Buffon, world champion with Italy in 2006, announced his success from the stage in Doha. Among the candidates there were also Gianluigi Donnarumma (Italy and Paris Saint-Germain) e Mike Maignan (France and Milan).
The Puskas Award for best goal goes to Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester Utd won the 2024 Fifa Puskas Award for the best goal. The Argentine striker was awarded by Alex Del Piero in Doha for the goal scored on 26 November 2023 at Goodison Park against l’Everton with a spectacular flying overhead kick into the top corner.
Bonmati best player 2024
The Spanish striker Aitana Bonmatistar of Barcelona and of Spain, won the ‘Fifa Best Award’ as the best player of 2024. For the Spanish champion, this completes a fantastic double with the Ballon d’Or. In the category for the best female goal, the curiosity is that the winner was the Brazilian Marta, after whom the first edition of this recognition, the ‘Marta Award’, was named.
