Azimut announces the victory of three prestigious awards in China which celebrate the brand’s constant commitment to innovation and design solutions that introduce new on-board lifestyles. The three awards come from Best of the Best Award 2024 awarded by Robb Report China to Seadeck 6 and come on China Yacht Awards 2024organized by the Chinese magazine Oceanway.
Seadeck 6: Best of the Best Award 2024the Robb Report China
Seadeck 6 has been recognized as a benchmark in sustainable innovation and design and has been awarded the award Best of the Best Award 2024Of Robb Report China.
The editor of the important international magazine declared: “Seadeck 6 represents a testimony to Azimut’s strong commitment to sustainable boating, with significant reductions in energy consumption and CO2 emissions thanks to the lightweight carbon fiber structure and optimized hull design. The revolutionary Fun Island connects the internal and external spaces, allowing guests to come into close contact with the sea while the use of sustainable materials, such as cork, highlights a deep attention to the preservation of the environment. With its mild hybrid system, the yacht minimizes emissions both at anchor and at sea, thus marking a new milestone in the green revolution of boating. Seadeck 6 is not simply a yacht: it is Azimut’s vision for the future of life on the ocean and the profound expression of a philosophy of harmonious coexistence with the surrounding nature”.
The project was developed by Azimut together with Alberto Mancini, who designed the external lines and the new concept of the Fun Island which reinvents the cockpit to embrace the sea, and Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, who took care of the interior design. Thanks to the combination of various innovations – from weight reduction to the latest generation efficient hull to pioneering solutions in the field of electrification – Seadeck 6 allows a reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 40% in a year of average use compared to yachts of similar size. Seadeck 6 introduces, in fact, an innovative system that allows both zero emissions at anchor and navigation with the generator off, thus further reducing consumption on board. This system (Mild Hybrid Zero Emission Hotel Mode) is based on the use of 42-kWh lithium batteries and an alternator connected to one of three engines. To further improve the on-board experience, Seadeck 6 replaces traditional materials with sustainable alternatives of natural or recycled origin, such as cork and carpets made from recycled raw materials (R-PET).
Azimut Grande Trideck and Grande 26M awarded at the China Yacht Awards 2024 at Oceanway
The jury of China Yacht Awards 2024 he rewarded Azimut Grande Trideck come “Superyacht of the Year in the 30M to 40M category”highlighting its innovative design and the close relationship it creates with the sea. The jury awarded this yacht for its interior design which reflects an understanding of the latest demands of modern owners for life on board at the highest level of refinement.
