Almost everywhere, tomato prices fell in November compared to October. The exception is France, where for grape and cherry tomatoes, the indicators remain green in the European Commission's tomato dashboard.
But when comparing with November 2023, the positive figures are more numerous. Remarkably: Compared to previous monthly updates, Dutch data is missing. Only the figures for France, Italy and Spain can therefore be compared in the dashboard.
Compared to the five-year average, with the exception of French cherry tomatoes, prices are higher everywhere by at least 9% (French bulk tomatoes) and up to 55% (Italian bulk tomatoes).
