Already particularly efficient, Suunto watches become even better at the end of the year thanks to a new update, spotted by the site Gadgets & Wearables.
Update 2.39.20 of Suunto connected watches enriches the brand's models with new features, but also increased precision, in particular for GPS tracking. Concretely, the manufacturer announces a better estimate of the distance traveled for outdoor sports thanks to new software for GNSS monitoring. Concerning heart rate monitoring too, Suunto announces that it has corrected some problems, in the same way as for sleep monitoring.
New features and Christmas-themed dials
In addition, version 2.39.20 of Suunto watches also allows you to benefit from some new features. This is the case of automatic compass calibration, now supported by sports watches. The Finnish manufacturer also offers a new option to lock the watch using a button, accessible in the watch's quick settings.
Finally, the update allows you to benefit from some new interface features, with an improvement in the appearance of the watch menus. At the end of the year, version 2.39.20 of Suunto watches finally adds a few dials in Christmas colors among those available for download in its store.
