A new craze
This increase observed on a national scale is all the more surprising given that the market had declined by 40% since 2021, according to data from the Vaillant group, specializing in the production of heating appliances and systems.
According to a Bordeaux heating engineer interviewed by our colleagues, this new craze is also due to the gradual increase in electricity prices:
“Gas has gone down while electricity has gone up. So, people have fallen back a bit on gas boilers”

40% of French households
