On the evening of Monday, December 16, a fire broke out in an underground parking lot located on rue de l'Acadie, in the Trois-Cités district of Poitiers (Vienne). No spread to housing level. Around forty people were evacuated from their apartments and were able to return quickly.
According to our information, tires caught fire. Others were spared. Still according to our information, the criminal trail is not excluded.
Around thirty firefighters were on site to try to stop the spread of smoke. Reconnaissance was carried out by the Vienne Fire and Rescue Department.
The authorities had asked them to avoid the area in order to facilitate access for law enforcement and firefighters. This is the second fire in this neighborhood in the space of two days, after the one that occurred this Sunday, December 15 in the morning.
