To underline its commitment to sustainability, French electronics retailer Darty invited customers to provide feedback on devices used for 18 months or more. This distributor awarded green stars to products with positive reviews, reaching more than 3.8 million people.
Jury chair Jo Arden, strategy director at Ogilvy UK, said: “In an age of overconsumption, Darty recognized the role it could play in signaling sustainable choices. It’s simple and super smart.”
