A 15-year-old girl was found dead on the night of Saturday December 14 to Sunday December 15 in the town of Isle, on the outskirts of Limoges. The body shows several stab wounds. The victim enrolled in third grade at Jean Rebier college is named Inès.
From Friday December 13relatives of the teenager had published a message on social networks specifying thatInès had disappeared and they released the photo of the girl as well as her description.
The Limoges public prosecutor’s office indicated this Sunday evening thata teenager was taken into custody for murder.
“It’s not about rape at all“, later clarified to AFP, the public prosecutor of LimogesEmilie Abrantes, who did not wish to give further details immediately.
According to several media, the suspect spoke to the police an ambush to steal his cell phone from the victim, after having arranged an appointment for him via the social network Snapchat.
The teenager’s family launched a jackpot for the organization of funerals. Sunday evening, more than 4 000 € had already been harvested.
