Beaten last year by the Gersois, the TOAC Dragons took brilliant revenge and brought home the Occitanie Cup which had belonged to them in 2021 and 2022, years in which they had already beaten Auch in the final. This victory qualifies them for the round of 32 of the Coupe de France Trophy.
> The meeting
The Dragons were only worried for seven minutes (17-15) and if the absences of Dezelus, Andrada and Coze are excuses, they cannot alone explain the lack of breeches that the TOAC, carried by the Forcada-Anderson-quartet Seguela-Boulaire (60 points), inflicted on Auch who never led the score.
In the very first minutes, De Prada’s two 3 points, which compensated for the efficiency of Anderson Jr and Seguela (12-11, 5th), suggested that the Gersois had the means to cause misery to TOAC.
This will not be the case because it is in the end in defense that the Toulouse team, otherwise skilled at free throws (16 out of 17), will gain the upper hand over Auch. The proof?
