The Rouches failed to get three points this Saturday at Kiel, but were still able to relax this Sunday. They are in fact on a city trip to London.

Ivan Leko would certainly have preferred it to be as a reward for a victory on the pitch at Beerschot, but the Standard de Liège players still received a day off this Sunday, we learn. The Last Hour.

Indeed, following the trip to Beerschot, the Liégeois quickly left Kiel to take a Eurostar train in Brussels-South, heading to London. It was on the decision of the sporting director, Fergal Harkin, that they were able to go on a city trip to the English capital until Monday.

A team-building which was partly financed by the players’ fines fund, and partly by the club, specify our colleagues. The resumption of training is scheduled for Tuesday at the academy.

Ivan Leko and his staff, however, remained in Belgium. The players therefore treat themselves to a moment of relaxation, which should allow them to get going again before the match against La Gantoise next weekend.
