According to initial information, the fire started around 3:30 a.m.
10 devices deployed
Large emergency resources were triggered, i.e. around ten engines from the Villefranche, Blacé and Briades (Saint-Etienne-des-Oullières) barracks to contain the fire.
Although the DIY workshop, measuring approximately 100 m2, was considerably damaged, the home was saved from the flames.
Firefighters also brought to safety two occupants, slightly intoxicated by smoke, who were then transported to hospitals.
The origin of the disaster is currently unknown. The gendarmes were on site this Sunday morning to carry out the usual findings.
