Standard loses the match at the top

The summit match of the 12th day of the Women’s Lotto Super League saw Oud-Heverlee Louvain win 1-2 (half-time: 0-1) at Standard thanks to a goal five minutes from time, Saturday evening at Sclessin.

This is a very bad deal for the Liégeoises, especially since Anderlecht for its part was a hit by winning with a forfeit score, 0-5 (half-time: 0-1) at Zulte Waregem .

OHL now has 31 points in the standings for 29 at Anderlecht, second, and 20 at Standard, third.

It was the last day of the year

The resumption is in fact planned for Friday January 17 and Saturday January 18.

A victory by ko signed Hannah Eurlings

The Louvanists opened the scoring in the quarter of an hour through Valesca Ampoorter (0-1).

Standard equalized after the restart thanks to Mariam Toloba (54th, 1-1).

Hannah Eurlings gave her team a 10th league victory in the 85th minute.

Anderlecht had no mercy on Zulte Waregem, the red lantern, even if they only really widened the gap in the second half.

It was in fact only 0-1 at the break, after Sarah Wijnants opened the scoring on an assist from Luna Vanzeir in the 16th minute.

The second half of the Mauves plunged the local team into hell, martyred by Amélie Delabre (47th, 0-2 on a new assist from Vanzeir), and again Wijnants (51st, 0-3), the sister of Dante Vanzeir piling up two more final goals shortly before the end of the massacre (87th, 0-4, and 88th, 0-5).

Stefanie Da Eira hat-trick for Club YLA

Club Brugge was even more prolific, 0-7 (halftime: 0-1) at Westerlo.

Rania Boutiebi opened the scoring before the half-hour mark (29th, 0-1).

Jade Heida doubled the lead from the restart (50th, 0-2).

The task for the Campinoises, reduced to ten after the exclusion of Melissa Tom in the 52nd, became even tougher after a penalty converted by Davinia Vanmechelen (53rd, 0-3).

The Bruges continued their fireworks with three goals from Stefanie Da Eira (68th, 0-4, 79th, 0-5, 90th+1, 0-7), Boutiebi, again, firing the last rocket (84th, 0-6) to complete his double.

Friday, Genk won 3-1 (half-time; 2-0) against La Gantoise, with goals from Gwyneth Vanaenrode (37th, 1-0) and Maurane Marinucci (45th, 2-0) in the first period .

Karlijn Helsen reduced the gap in the 79th (2-1), but Lisa Petry will definitively ensure Limburg’s fifth victory of the season, in the 82nd (3-1).

Genk occupies 4th place (18 pts) ahead of Club Bruges (16 pts) and Westerlo (15 pts).

La Gantoise 7th (7 pts) and Zulte Waregem 8th (3 pts) bring up the rear.
