Every December 10, Sweden remembers its distinguished national, the chemist Alfred Nobel, who died on this date. The inventor of dynamite wanted that in his memory, people who had brought “the greatest benefit to humanity” would be rewarded with a prize in his name, accompanied by 11 million Swedish crowns (approximately €953,500) .
