Low clouds and sometimes freezing fog in the center-east are common. In the south, the sky is generally clear, except around the Gulf of Lion and in Corsica. Rain even occurs in Roussillon.

The gray weather should dissipate in most regions, except in certain valleys such as the Loire Valley and the Saône Valley for example. The rains, sometimes stormy, increase on the Roussillon side and the clouds are often dense south of the Garonne. A few showers are also expected in Corsica.

The weather remains unstable in the Mediterranean with numerous showers, sometimes stormy, especially in Roussillon. Elsewhere, the weather is calm but low clouds or fogs are reforming over the northern half and the center-east.

On Friday, the weather will deteriorate around the Mediterranean with rain and snow at medium altitude in the mountains. Elsewhere, the weather will remain dry but sometimes gray north of the Loire, under recalcitrant low clouds. The frosts will be more widespread in the northern half and a little more pronounced.
