If the last day of the European cups had been more complicated, this Tuesday launched the week perfectly for the French teams. Brest continued their incredible momentum by winning 1-0 against PSV Eindhoven. For its part, PSG won in Salzburg 3-0 to finally get back into the race in qualifying.
While waiting to know what Lille and Monaco will do, respectively against Strum Graz and Arsenal, France has thus fallen back well in the ranking of the UEFA index for the season. Still in 6th place of course, with 9,214 points, but just behind Spain which is with 9,285 points. Apart from England which goes it alone, all the places are possible especially since Italy for example had a zero point with Inter and Atalanta who lost.
