A fight against illness
If the story of Flavie and Valentin inspires so much, it is also because it is marked by immense courage in the face of adversity. During her participation in the show, Flavie revealed that she had cancer. “I had undergone surgery for a tumor analyzed as benign before participating in the show” she confided to Parisian last November 5. But, during filming, the diagnosis came: “I had sarcoma [une tumeur cancéreuse maligne]. I collapsed. The oncologist immediately told me that there would be chemo.” Despite this terrible news, Flavie found unwavering support in Valentin: “He told me he would be there for me no matter what.” In the episode of Monday November 11, 2024, broadcast on M6, she spoke to Karine Le Marchand about this difficult period. “We took this interview as a mid-term review, filmed in case I couldn’t be there a few months later,” she explained.
