Laurent Gibon of “À Bon porc”, whose products charcuterie are for sale in the local distributors of Saint-Floxel (Manche), continues its participation in gastronomic competitions.

Recently, he obtained the festival committee trophy in the category of boudin blanc nature organized by the Gastronomic Brotherhood of the Vikings of the Normandy Bocage. The competition took place on Monday November 18, 2024 in Saint-Martin-des-Champs.
The awards ceremony took place on Monday November 25. Out of 28 products presented, his natural white pudding arrived 4e.
My specialty is home-made charcuterie. This is the first time that I presented this natural white pudding in the competition. For my part, it's satisfying and it makes my products known. And it makes people want to come and see my products at distributors.
Meet at Candlemas in Montebourg
The plain white pudding presented in the competition will be available throughout the month of December. Being in the period of Christmas and New Year festivities, you will be able to also find a product suitable for this period: galantine (duck with orange, guinea fowl and pistachio or turkey with chanterelles).
It was in 2022 that Laurent decided to put his products in the “À bon porc” distributor in Saint-Floxel.
“I’m going to continue in gastronomic competitions,” concludes Laurent. From now on, I will present tripes and pig's trotters in the competition organized by the Cassine Brotherhood of the Knights of Saint-Jacques during the traditional Candlemas”, from Friday January 31 to Sunday February 2, 2025.
