The Automotive Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) has announced the prestigious semi-finalists for the 2025 Canadian Car of the Year Award. The top three finalists per category will be presented on January 16, 2025.
The big winners will be announced at the Canadian International Auto Show on February 13, 2025.
The CCOTY awards are open to all 2025 model year vehicles, whether newly designed, recently updated, or unchanged from the previous year.

“The announcement of our semi-finalists is the first big step towards the 2025 Canadian Car of the Year awards. Whether or not they win the ultimate trophy, the voting process for the Canadian Car of the Year year ensures that each of the finalist vehicles stands out in its category,” said AJAC President Evan Williams.
