A true pillar of modern culture, Dofus has finally received the long-awaited update. And for many, it is a real event.
A much-anticipated passing of the torch
It's been 20 years since Dofus was released: Ankama's legendary MMORPG is celebrating its anniversary in the best possible way, namely with an extremely desired update bringing it under Unity. A change of engine for a complete facelift, magnifying the experience both graphically and technically. This 3.0 upgrade was announced for a long time, caused a lot of discussion… and is now deployed.
An update that is simply necessary for the sustainability of the game which, finally, would no longer be limited to Flash but to a modern platform, known and recognized in the modern video game industry. Beyond the graphic and artistic aspect, Ankama also worked on an overhaul of the systems and game design. The user experience has been reinvented with modular menus, the soundtrack has also been re-orchestrated while the settings are now filled with animations of all kinds.
The changelog 3.0
In a post on the official website, Ankama is therefore pleased to finally release this 3.0 update and above all, thanks the players infinitely for their patience and their feedback. The developers promise minor improvements in the coming weeks and months: in the meantime, here is the changelog of this Unity update.
