Incourt players were visibly too aggressive. “I’m not trying to overwhelm Jandrain, but his players were also very tough in the duels from the start. Afterwards, I recognize that there was no gesture but mainly words on their side. Some of my players did certain things that I will resolve internally because I do not condone violence. In the end, no one played their role and really recognizes their wrongs. Jandrain filed a complaint with the Belgian Union
The shots that were lost last Sunday are still on everyone’s minds on Jandrain’s side. “I have often experienced tense matches but with positive aggression. We take as much into the story as they do and it’s a shame they don’t take responsibility. Their president mentions sanctions against some of his players. We’ll see ! In the meantime, we have filed a complaint with the Belgian Union because we cannot let this kind of thing happen. There, we will try to redouble our motivation in order to prepare well for the next match.”
It remains to be seen that the Federation will decide the outcome of the match.
