After having stagnated throughout the last few days, the prices of domestic fuel oil in France are down slightly, although they are still close to the levels observed in previous days.
This Wednesday, December 4, ordinary fuel oil is displayed at exactly 1.117 euros per liter, according to the specialized site Prixfioul.fr. As for the superior, it is sold on average at 1.136 euros per liter. Whether for ordinary or superior, the prices displayed this Wednesday are down around two euros per 1,000 liters compared to the prices observed over the last few days.
For its part, the Fioulreduc site displays an average price of 1.107 euros per liter. According to this online comparator, today's rate is down three euros per 1,000 liters compared to Tuesday. Finally, on the Fioulmarket site, fuel oil is sold for 1,118 euros on average for a purchase of 1000 liters. On this platform, on the other hand, the daily price is the same as that observed during the day of Monday and Tuesday.
Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in France this Wednesday?
According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1,074 euros on average for a purchase of 1000 liters. Conversely, it is in Auvergne that the price is the highest, with 1,136 euros for an order of 1000 liters. As such, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Auvergne amounts to 62 euros for a purchase of 1000 liters.
Concerning the evolution of fuel oil prices in the coming days, the drop could only be temporary. Indeed, since Tuesday, black gold prices have been on an upward trend after having stagnated throughout the beginning of the week. Who says oil prices are increasing, says domestic fuel prices which are also expected to increase in the days to come.
According to the specialized site Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea is quoted at $73.84 this Wednesday morning, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $70.13 per barrel. Prices similar to those seen in recent days, an increase of around two dollars per barrel compared to recent days. If the levels of black gold continue to rise, those of domestic fuel oil could also soar.
