In a video produced by theATPGrigor Dimitrov launched into an open letter to tennis. And despite the difficult times, the 33-year-old Bulgarian declares his love for his sport.

“I will always be grateful to you for what you gave to my heart. Dear tennis, it's a long love story that we have. We met at the age of 3 with a very small racket that my mother had given me. My first interaction with you was when I was hitting a very broken wall in my village. Our adventure took a turn when I took the field with my father, who taught me how to play. Our years were full of defeats, painful moments, excitement and great moments. It was love at first sight. I remember that at the age of 11, I won a tournament in .
