The prices of gasoline and diesel in Lebanon fell on Tuesday, according to the latest table from the Ministry of Energy and Water, less than three weeks before the entry into force of the new standards set by Libnor and approved by the Council of Ministers in September.

The price of a domestic gas cylinder has fallen by around $2.50.

Here are the new prices:

20 liters of 95 octane gasoline: 1,409,000 LL (-7,000 LL compared to last Tuesday)

20 liters of 98 octane gasoline: 1,449,000 LL (-7,000 LL)

20 liters of diesel (for vehicles): 1,339,000 LL (-8,000 LL)

Domestic gas cylinder: 1,019,000 LL (-23,000 LL)

Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to power private electricity generators): $686.44 (-$1.01).
