Jaguar's electric concept car leaks onto the web

Originally, the Jaguar concept car prefiguring the revival of the English brand was to be unveiled this evening in Miami, Florida, in other words very early tomorrow morning here with the time difference. But that was without counting on leaks on the web. Indeed, several images of this imposing electric coupe, presented in blue but also in pink, no longer have any secrets. It was the Spanish site Coche Spias, specialized in this type of anticipated revelations, which was in charge before it all spreads like wildfire.

Without rear window

From the outset, this prototype does not resemble anything known. Monolithic, sporting very geometric front and rear grilles and having a very long hood yet contradictory with electric propulsion, it even does without a rear window. Certainly, today, rear vision provided by camera can come to the rescue but the feeling of confinement could be evident on board. On the subject, the Divine DS style study unveiled in 2014 remained without follow-up, the French premium brand has not taken the plunge in its range. The only convincing example being that of the Polestar 4 but which remains an isolated case and which drowns the fish by adopting a black lacquered part in the extension of the roof.

A hatch like the Renault Le Corbusier

This aesthetic manifesto also takes the opportunity to showcase the new identity of the feline brand, through golden grilles positioned on the sides as well as very thin optics in the middle of the framed grille. We will now have to see what remains of the production version, which will take the form of a trendy four-door GT announced for 2026. It will open the ball to a trilogy including, as you can imagine, SUVs. In a detail photo we see a hatch sliding on the side towards the front axle, the functionality of which is not clearly identified at the moment.

This may bring to mind the Renault Le Corbusier concept dating from 2015, which in this location accommodated luggage. Even when viewed from above, the object is intriguing with a comb, harp or even pan flute motif gradually ensuring the connection between the hood and the enveloping windshield and which extends into the passenger compartment. A graphic which visually lightens the whole and which can be found on the roof. To connect with legitimate elements of the brand, the rear three-quarter view can implicitly evoke the Type E coupe. But only from a distance. Stay tuned, you will learn more about this unique object very soon.
