A CRS implicated in the death of Zineb Redouane, an 80-year-old woman who died after being hit by a tear gas grenade in in 2018, during demonstrations, was indicted for manslaughter.

The CRS suspected of being the author of the tear gas grenade which killed Zineb Redouane, in 2018 in Marseille, was indicted for involuntary homicide, we learned this Thursday, November 28, 2024, theAFP from sources close to the case.

This octogenarian died on December 2, 2018 in hospital, twenty-four hours after being hit head-on by a tear gas grenade, while she was closing a window in her apartment located in the city center of Marseille, where she was demonstrations were taking place.

“My customers are relieved,” confided to Franceinfo Me Yassine Bouzrou, lawyer for the family of Zineb Redouane.
