“There is always an obligation to achieve results. It is certain that if we had not qualified, I myself would have had to draw the consequences and leave. Even if it is not written in my contract, it was an obligation to go to this African Cup of Nations. If I have a certain honor, a certain philosophy, I don't need to write everything down in a contract… You trust. People knew that we were starting from afar, that the average age was over thirty, that there were players almost 40 years old in this team, and that we had to find players who made it up. , without necessarily having players who play in major European clubs.
