The day before the book's release, Thierry Lhermitte went to the set of C à vous on France 5. Questioned by Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine about this latest project, he explained that it had been an opportunity for the entire troupe of meet one last time in full. “We saw each other regularly, but there, with the book, we had the opportunity to see each other more” he indicated.
Throughout the book, the seven actors have commented on photos from their personal collections. Annotations for which they did not consult each other. Thierry Lhermitte confirmed: “We each made our own comments.”.

the death of Michel Blancthe whole troupe received a Good to Shoot for validate the book before printing. “We reread what we had written so as not to say stupid things. We then discovered what the others had said and it's so nice, so warm” confided Thierry Lhermitte.
Regarding the comments written by Michel Blanc, his friend revealed that he did not immediately pay attention to them. “The night he died, I read what Michel had written” he then explained. A strong emotional moment for anyone who thinks that the 72-year-old didn't have time to discover what others had written about him. According to Bruno Moynot, doubt remains however since Michel Blanc was a very conscientious person.
