Domestic fuel oil prices have fallen sharply compared to the levels observed in recent days. A decline which could well continue in the coming days.

This Wednesday, November 27, ordinary fuel oil is exactly 1.117 euros per liter, according to the specialized site Prixfioul.fr. As for the superior, it is sold on average at 1.136 euros per liter. Both for ordinary and superior, the prices observed this Wednesday are down two euros for an order of 1,000 liters compared to the start of the week.

For its part, the Fioulreduc site displays an average price of 1.114 euros per liter. According to this online comparator, today's price has also fallen by two euros for an order of 1,000 liters. Finally, on the Fioulmarket site, fuel oil is sold for 1,104 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. Here, the drop is five euros compared to Tuesday.

Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in this Wednesday?

According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1,075 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. Conversely, it is in Champagne-Ardenne that the price is the highest in the entire country, with 1,149 euros for an order of 1,000 liters. For comparison, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Champagne-Ardenne amounts to 74 euros for a purchase of 1,000 liters.

If the prices of domestic fuel have started to fall again, it is because the trend is the same in the oil markets. In fact, the prices of black gold have been in sharp decline for several days. Obviously, when oil prices are falling, those of domestic heating oil and motor fuels follow the same trend in France.

According to the specialized site Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea is quoted at $72.59 this Wednesday morning, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $69.08 per barrel. If the fall in oil prices continues, those of domestic fuel oil will plummet, which will delight households who still use this source of energy for heating.
