The music composed by Hans Zimmer resonated the cinema memories of thousands of spectators this Tuesday at the Zénith d’Auvergne.
Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, Interstellar… Here is a sample of the compositions ofHans Zimmer for the cinema. Since the 90s, the film score composer has established himself among the most popular alongside John Williams. Proof of this is that the concerts featuring his scores are almost sold out. At the Zénith d’Auvergne in Cournon-d’Auvergne (Puy-de-Dôme), the public, who came in large numbers, were able to enjoy a journey into the different worlds of Hans Zimmer.
From The Lion King to Dune, there is only one score
From the first notes of the music of Man of Steelthe orchestra made up of around fifty musicians brought epic life to the Zénith. The giant screens behind the instruments are in rhythmic harmony to give even more depth to the music. Add to that dynamic lights and musicians who do not hesitate to play comedy, to obtain an epic and spectacular show lasting more than three hours.

So no, Hans Zimmer was not physically present in Auvergne. It would have been so beautiful. But this one came up numerous times through interactions with the conductor and the audience. Presenting his own works, the composer of Pirates of the Caribbean took the opportunity to give some anecdotes around his compositions.
The composer’s anthology of iconic music transports spectators to the point of excitement. The applause is loud, the cries of excitement too… And inevitably, when ultra-famous music like that of the Lion King or from Interstellar are played, the public, in communion, is won over. Whether you know film music or not, the show remains impressive and entertaining for everyone.
