An African journalist who did not vote for Vinicius for the 2024 Ballon d’Or lit up Florentino Perez.
The Namibian journalist, Sheefeni Nicodemus, since it is him we are talking about, responded to the president of Real Madrid.
“There are journalists that no one knows who voted this year. Without the votes of journalists from countries like Uganda, Namibia, Albania and Finland, Vinicius would have won the Ballon d’Or »said the president of Real Madrid.
“He believes that the people of my country do not have a meaningful vote because we are inferior people”said the Namibian journalist who did not vote for Vinicius for the 2024 Ballon d’Or in response to Florentino Perez’s comments.
“Deep down, I suspect that these are just the words of someone who is frustrated like Mr. Pérez”he said. “I would just like to know: if I were from one of the major footballing nations and I didn’t agree with your opinion, what would your argument be? »he added.
Journalists from Finland, Namibia and El Salvador are the only ones who did not place Vinicius in their top ten lists.
Sheefeni Nicodemus opted for his teammate Jude Bellingham in first position ahead of Rodri and Lamine Yamal.
