Rue Victor-Hugo closed to traffic in Esch
Less than an hour later, at precisely 4:48 a.m., the firefighters were alerted and deployed significant material and human resources in Esch-sur-Alzette. A house fire broke out on rue Victor-Hugo. The CCGDIS indicates that there is one person injured.
Help arrived from the barracks of Esch, Kayl, Pétange and Sanem-Differdange. Samu was also called upon. The intervention is still in progress.
The Grand Ducal police indicate that rue Victor-Hugo is temporarily closed to traffic due to the intervention of firefighters and recommend avoiding and going around the fire area.
