If good Oled televisions often exceed 1300 or even 2000 € depending on the model, the Mini-LED appears to be a good alternative, less contrasting of course, but also less expensive. The TCL C89B passed through our lab this year has thus become one of the best value for money of 2024 with a very high light peak, good contrasts, a convincing sound system and a 144 Hz panel for video game enthusiasts. If we found it around €1000 in 55 inches (55C89B) recently, its price has just fallen to €800 at most resellers.

A price which risks harming the competition given the overall quality offered, although not everything is perfect. Oled models like the LG 55C4 or the Philips 55OLED809 do better in our comparison, particularly in terms of viewing angles and reflections, but they are also much more expensive.
FYI, the 65C89B – 65-inch model – is currently €1,100 for those who have a little more space in their living room.
