One month later the shootingwhich cost the life of Anis and injured four teenagers aged 15 to 16, Bleu Poitou and Poitou-Charentes are organizing a special morning this Wednesday, November 27live from the Couronneries district, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

We will be live from Place Coïmbra, in the heart of the Couronneries, a district of 10,000 inhabitants which made the headlines in the media, particularly after the controversial remarks of the Minister of the Interior. The latter had mentionedno brawl between rival gangs involving hundreds of peoplestatements since denied and strongly contested by the mayor of Poitiers and Anis' family.

During this special morning, we will return to this tragedy which shook the neighborhood and will give a voice to its inhabitants and local actors. Here are the highlights not to be missed:

  • At 7:30 a.m.we will be live with Alberto Balaguèredirector of the Couronneries Family Center, and Baya Keitaadministrator of this association which offers activities for families in the neighborhood.
  • At 7:45 a.m., Yasmina Djoudilawyer for Anis' family, will intervene. She knows the neighborhood well and will give us news of Anis' mother, while addressing the subject of collateral victims of drug trafficking in the region.
  • At 8:00 a.m., Antoine Bonneaudirector of the Center Animation Couronneries, will look back on the tragic events of October 31, when Anis lost his life on the sidelines of the Halloween evening organized by the center. He will also discuss the actions taken to support families and young people in the neighborhood.
  • At 8:20, Bernard Gouleteditor-in-chief of France 3 Poitou-Charentes, will analyze the media treatment of this affair and discuss the role of local media.
