The “00 prototype” of the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale continues its development on the Nardò circuit. Top speed was part of it and it’s totally validated!
Started several months ago on the Balocco test base, the test phase of the sculptural Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is refining its development on the oval of the Nardo Technical Center, located in Salento. On site, the testing team checked and validated dynamic parameters such as aerodynamics, speed and maximum temperatures, cooling systems and even soundproofing of the passenger compartment.
Less than 3 seconds for 0 to 100 and 333 km/h
When it comes to speed, the Italian, stuffed with a 620 hp V6 3.0 biturbo engine (a 100% electric 750 hp variant is also possible) and which offers two driving modes that can be activated from the switches located on the central tunnel: “Strada” (road) and “Pista” (track), validated his ticket by taking the trifle of 333 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds on the Nardò Ring track (see video above), justice of the peace in high-speed testing of cars and motorcycles, with its diameter of 4 km and its length of 12.6 km. Delivery of the first Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale to one of the 33 customers (production of the model is limited to 33 examples) has been confirmed for next December.
