The List unveiled its list of the 1,000 best restaurants in the world this Monday and Frenchman Arnaud Donckele came first, tied with eight other establishments, for La Vague d’Or – Le Cheval Blanc in Saint-Tropez (99.5/100 ).
He also won second place for Plénitude, in Paris.
Ten other chefs from the Var, Monaco or Riviera stand out in this ranking: Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse in Monaco (99/100), Mirazur in Menton (98/100), La Chèvre d’Or in Èze (94/100), La Table au Castellet (92/100), Le Cap at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (91.5/100), Blue Bay in Monaco (89/100), Flaveur in Nice (88.5/100), La Villa Archange in Le Cannet (87.5/100), Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac in Monaco ( 84.50/100) and La Voile – La Réserve in Ramatuelle (77/100).
