The Village at the Foot of the Current

We couldn’t find a better place than the Village to go and see the fireworks! Feet in the sandyou are right opposite the Ronde – the location is ideal. The party starts well before the fireworks start, and it is the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful summer evening with music, in a general and particularly contagious good mood. In addition, there is a bar and especially food truck square and very varied food. Be careful though: after 9 p.m., on fire evenings, reserves are quickly exhausted, and some stands must close shop before the launch of the first rocket. Don’t delay in placing your order!

Most : free entry before 7 p.m., catering areas, toilets on site, and an ideal location!
The lessers : you have to arrive early to be able to access the site – after 8:30 p.m., it can become really complicated, if not impossible.

That’s good, Jacques-Cartier Bridge closes its doors to motorists and cyclists between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and allows you to see the fireworks right in front of La Ronde. Equip yourself with a cold drink and a folding chair for more comfort, and let’s go and feast our eyes! In addition, we are told in the earpiece that there are chemical toilets near the exit ramp of Parc Jean-Drapeau, towards Montreal. Super practical because with this high heat, we don’t forget to hydrate our raccoons!

The lookouts of Dieppe Park

We’ve already told you about Dieppe Park, which is one of our favorite barbecue spots. This place a little unknown is located at the tip of the peninsula, next to Habitat 67. So of course, it’s not the quickest place to get to, but its small belvederes offer a breathtaking view of the Old Port, and therefore of the lights!

Most : a slightly different place, and an incredible view of both the lights and the city.
The lessers : no transport nearby – we recommend cycling!

We end with the most obvious spotbut which we don’t necessarily think about! Why not end your day of full thrills by watching the fireworks directly from La Ronde ? Yes – you can absolutely buy tickets to be in the stands, on the edge of the Lac des Dauphins, practically under the fire! Note, however, that the Summer and Adrenaline Passports do NOT allow you to access the fireworks; you will therefore have to pay a few extra pennies if you want to sit under the rain of stars! But it is definitely something to do at least once.

Most : you are live from the launch base!
The lessers : you will have to pay a little more than an entrance to the park.
