On this last day of the week, domestic fuel oil prices in France are stabilizing. Compared to the prices observed on Saturday, those of this Sunday are unchanged, on all specialized platforms. For households heating with oil, there is always time to save money, because the current prices are attractive.
This Sunday, November 24, ordinary fuel oil is exactly 1.118 euros per liter, according to the specialized site Prixfioul.fr. As for the superior, it is sold on average at 1.137 euros per liter. Both for the ordinary and for the superior, there is a tendency towards stagnation on this last day of the week. In fact, today's prices are exactly the same as those observed on Saturday.
For its part, the Fioulreduc site displays an average price of 1.116 euros per liter. According to this online comparator also, today's price is the same as that displayed on Saturday. Finally, on the Fioulmarket site, fuel oil is sold for 1,109 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. For this platform also, the trend is towards stability after the multiple increases recorded throughout this week.
Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in France this Sunday?
According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1,074 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. Conversely, it is in Champagne-Ardenne that the price is the highest in the entire country, with 1,147 euros for an order of 1,000 liters. For comparison, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Champagne-Ardenne amounts to 73 euros for a purchase of 1,000 liters.
This Sunday, the trend is therefore towards stability. However, this stagnation in domestic fuel prices is not expected to last. Indeed, if we look at the oil markets, we see that the trend is upward this weekend. And as usual, when the prices of black gold evolve, those of domestic fuel oil systematically follow the same curve in France.
According to the specialized site Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea is quoted at $75.17 this Sunday morning, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $70.70 per barrel. If oil prices continue to rise, those of fuel oil should therefore rise in the coming days.
