The event called “Tous au sport” took place at the Marie Marvingt stadium. Despite a few showers, the event attracted an enthusiastic crowd in a friendly and festive atmosphere.

A wide range of sports activities and demonstrations

Visitors were able to learn about a wide variety of disciplines at the Marie Marvingt stadium during “Tous au sport”, Saturday June 29, 2024. The program included the practice of traditional sports, more atypical or emerging activities. Among the most notable stands, those for climbing, combat sports and baseball aroused real enthusiasm.

The climbing stand gave participants the opportunity to try their hand at climbing on walls installed for the occasion. Qualified instructors were present to supervise beginners and teach them the basics of this sport in complete safety.

Lovers of combat sports had the opportunity to attend demonstrations of different disciplines, such as Muay Thai, karate and boxing. Introductory workshops also allowed visitors to try out these sports under the supervision of experienced coaches.

The baseball stand offered introductory workshops for young and old. Visitors were able to learn how to throw, catch and hit the ball, thus discovering the basics of this American sport that is still unknown to some.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of sports offered today. My kids loved the baseball initiation” (Marie, 34 years old, resident of Le Mans)

Conferences on sport and health and renowned speakers

In addition to sporting activities, thematic conferences enriched the “All in sport” day. In the middle of the afternoon, a particularly anticipated conference had as its theme “The largest sports-health gathering in France”. This conference was hosted by two well-known personalities: Jimmy Mohameddoctor and TV columnist, and Nordine Attab, sports coach and TV columnist. Their intervention highlighted the importance of sport in maintaining health and well-being. This time for discussion aroused keen interest among the participants.
