Ligue 1, 12th day
Princes Park
PSG-Toulouse 3-0
Buts: Neves (35e), Beraldo (84e), Vitinha (90e+1) for PSG
Completely in control, PSG easily beat Toulouse 3-0 at the Parc des Princes. A 5th success in a row in Ligue 1 which allows PSG to keep a good lead over Monaco and to best prepare for their match against Bayern.
With a reshuffled team, PSG could be in danger against a Toulouse team with three consecutive wins in Ligue 1. This was not the case in the first period as PSG had control of the ball. A clear domination, sometimes sterile, but quickly rewarded. On a cross from Hakimi, Neves took over without control from the edge of the area to plant Restes and open the score. The Toulouse goalkeeper was more solid to stop Barcola's attempts or a subtle Madjer from Beraldo. PSG maintained their momentum after the break, even believing they would double the lead via Zaire-Emery before the VAR canceled the goal for offside (54th).
Not safe despite its mastery, PSG scared itself a little with two actions from TFC. Aboukhlal went alone on goal but Zaire-Emery tackled him just in time. In the process, the Parisian midfielder offered a goal ball to Babicka who hit it over the top into the open area. PSG then accelerated with goals from Beraldo and Vitinha to secure the 3-0 victory. Paris is back 6 points ahead of Monaco and continues to advance in Ligue 1. Toulouse remains 10th.
