William Pinville was the voice-over for Questions for a champion from 1992 to 2016. He was responsible for presenting the candidates at the start of the show and announcing the amount of prize pools and gifts. When Julien Lepers was dismissed, he was replaced by a female voice, Clotilde Donna. But his voice remained in everyone's memories. “One day, the caretaker of my building told me that she had said to her husband: “I'm sure that Mr. Pinville, the tenant, is the voice of Questions for a Champion.
