This Friday morning, around 6:30 a.m., a fire, apparently of electrical origin, attacked the brand new premises of the Charlise recycling plant, avenue Édouard-Herriot, in Troyes.
Fortunately, it was a neighbor, who was walking her dog at the time, who witnessed the outbreak and immediately notified the firefighters and neighbors.
“Everything burned”clarified, bluntly, the director of La Régie de nos Quartiers, Philippe Morel. The cash register, air conditioning, “all the toys put away for Christmas”computer hardware… everything.
However, there is no question of giving up. If the recycling center only opened in mid-October, it's a big blow that it already has to close its doors. “But we are stronger, we will reopen in the same place, we cannot be fooled by a twist of fate” : Philippe Morel was already rolling up his sleeves, a few hours after the fire.
