Djibril Cissé embraces a career as a consultant

Four years later, it was France Télévisions which decided to trust him and hire him as a commentator during French Cup football matches broadcast by France 2 and France 3.

In November 2023, Djibril Cissé released a book entitled My life as a footballer, where he looked back on his childhood, his beginnings in the world of football, his time with Olympique de Marseille, his children, but also his double tibia-fibula fracture which football fans surely remember.
