Simona Cordara and Luca Pecchio do not deviate from the tradition that they established six years ago: installing in their framing workshop in the town center of Oudon an impressive nativity scene, assembling around a hundred characters in scenes from village or even foreign countries.
We reproduce what we experienced in our youth in Piedmont, Italy. We set up the crèche in the heart of a different landscape each year. We have donations of figurines from friends in Spain, Italy, Portugal and, of course, France which complete the scenes,”
explains Simona Cordara.
A young resident of Oudon, Agathe, came several times to help them arrange the characters in the setting.
This year's new features, a larger desert, a wider waterfall, a reproduction of a stone monument lent by a sculptor from Oudon. The couple spent several weeks putting together the nursery. It will be presented in their workshop this weekend and visible until January 6.
