While Amazon Italy had anticipated the offer for a few days, it is now on Amazon France that you can take advantage of the Black Friday offer on the PS5 Slim. Thus, since the PS5 Slim has seen its price decrease for the good deals event this month of November.

Indeed, the Digital edition of the PS5 Slim is sold to 374,90 euros instead of 449.90 euros while the standard PS5 Slim with disc drive is at 474,90 euros (instead of 549.99 euros). This is a very interesting reduction for those who were waiting for Black Friday to treat themselves to the Sony console.

PS5 Slim: now is the time to buy it for Christmas

As a reminder, the Slim version of the Sony console was launched in October 2023. As usual, the Japanese brand offers a more compact version of its console a few years after the launch of the new generation.

The PS5 Slim is not just a “compact” version of the original model. It introduces some welcome new features. First, a weight loss cure since its dimensions go from 390 x 104 x 260 mm à 358 x 96 x 216 mm. Still on the exterior, the line crossing the console on the upper third is a little more marked.

This now makes it easy to add and remove the disk drive. Because this is the other important new feature of the PS5 Slim: it is now modular and allows you to add or remove the physical drive as desired. Moreover, you can choose to buy the purely digital version, then buy the reader separately afterwards if you feel like it.

Finally, on a technical level, the new PS5 Slim sees its internal SSD goes from just over 800 MB to 1 TBwhich leaves more room for games. For the rest, the console does not change its technical sheet.

Finally, the lightweight version of the standard PS5 measures 358 x 96 x 216 mm and weighs 3.2 kilos.
