Do the new team composition changes impact your system?
It is not the system that adapts to the players but the players who adapt to the system. This is a reality that has been verified since the start of the mandate, where whatever compositions we had, whether because of Covid, on summer tours, for some injuries or other reasons , we saw a French team which remained efficient with the same playing identity.
This is extremely important in order to be able to build on the future, even if we try to have maximum stability on our team. We are sometimes forced to endure the ups and downs, whether it be injuries, poor performances and the team adapts accordingly. I think that all the players we saw come in, whether even on the last tour in Argentina, the first capes who had their selection in the first two matches, we didn’t see any difference in our game and it proves that we have a system that works and that the players, as soon as they arrive with us, are ready to play and respond.
