You like fireworks and you plan to see several this summer. Nothing could be simpler! Many towns in Creuse will light up the sky during the summer period and not just around July 14. To save you searching, we offer you a non-exhaustive list here.

From June 28 to 29

  • Mérinchal: St. Peter’s Day from June 28 to 30 with fireworks on June 30
  • Bazelat: Saint Peter’s Day on June 29 and 30 with torchlight procession and fireworks on June 29
  • Saint-Sulpice-les-Champs: Saint John’s Day torchlight procession at 10:30 p.m. followed by fireworks

From July 5 to 7

  • Crocq: sixte tournament, pétanque competition, grand parade, torchlight procession and fireworks on July 6 and 7
  • San Sebastian: Associations’ Day with fireworks on July 6
  • Montaigut: patronal festival on July 6 and 7 with fireworks on July 7
  • Saint-Priest-la-Feuille: village festival on July 6 and 7 with fireworks on July 6
  • Reterre: patronal festival on July 6 and 7 with fireworks on July 7

July 13

  • Boussac: fireworks at nightfall followed by the firefighters’ ball at 11 p.m.
  • Crozant: fireworks at 11 p.m. from the ruins of the fortress followed by a free grand ball
  • Guéret: fireworks in Courtille
  • Aubusson: fireworks fired from the remains of the Chapter
  • Marsac: torchlight procession to the Brousse pond followed at 11 p.m. by fireworks and a popular ball
  • Saint-Pardoux-les-Cards: 9 p.m. free dance and 10 p.m. fireworks
  • Dontreix: fireworks on the pond at 11 p.m. followed by a ball
  • Bonnat: torchlight procession, fireworks and free ball
  • Royère-de-Vassivière: firefighters’ ball
  • Chénérailles: fairground square, foot trucks, refreshment bar and catering, fireworks followed by a ball
  • Fursac: fireworks and free ball
  • Banize: giant paella, fireworks and popular ball
  • Bonnat: meal, ball and fireworks
  • Naillat: funfair and fireworks

The 14th of July

  • Bourganeuf: 11 p.m. fireworks followed by a popular ball
  • La Souterraine: 11 p.m., taken from the Bridiers site, accompanied by the most beautiful music from the 15 years of the Bridiers fresco.
  • Châtelus-Malvaleix: 10:30 p.m. fireworks at Place de la Garenne followed by a ball at Place de la Fontaine
  • Fresselines: fireworks and grand ball
  • Fontanières: the municipality offers a republican aperitif at 11:30 a.m. in the village hall
  • Gouzon: fireworks from the fairground
  • La Cellette: 10:30 p.m. lantern parade then fireworks followed by a musette ball
  • Moutier-Malcard: fireworks at 10 p.m. and dance
  • Naillat: fireworks and ball
  • Peyrat-le-Chateau: fireworks on the pond at nightfall
  • Peyrat-la-Nonière: open-air ball and fireworks with sound at the Chaux pond at 11 p.m.

July 20

  • Jouillat: festive and musical meal followed by fireworks

From July 27 to 28

  • Auzances: Saint-Jacques festival on July 27, 28 and 29 with closing fireworks on July 29
  • Azerles: festival and flea market at the Etang de la Chaume on July 27 and 28 with fireworks on July 27

August 3

  • Saint-Germain Beaupré: popular ball and fireworks

August 10th

  • Lourdoueix-Saint-Pierre: omelette evening and fireworks

August 15th

  • Royère-de-Vassivière: patronal festival with fireworks
  • Noth: Cazine festival with popular ball and fireworks
  • Cressat: fireworks from 11 p.m.
