A man, known in the world of Parisian banditry, died after a violent attack in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, AFP learned on Wednesday November 20 from a source close to the investigation and the prosecution.
A 47-year-old man, born in Algeria
The attack took place during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, rue des Amandiers, in the east of the capital. Shortly after midnight, “a person in cardio-respiratory arrest was discovered by the firefighters”, the Paris prosecutor's office told AFP, confirming information from the weekly Paris Match.
The victim, aged 47 and born in Algeria, was identified as Mounir C., known to the courts, the prosecution further explains. The criminal brigade was seized of a murder investigation.
