Although there were many of them working on the house site, there was only one for whom the vision of a mysterious rope trapped in the ground seemed curious.
After digging until he felt a metallic resistance at the end of his tool, the worker unearthed a metal box inside which lay a real treasure: hundreds of gold coins, probably old and estimated at 2, 3 million euros.
“It’s really incredible. I have worked on construction sites since the age of 15. From time to time, we find coins. But such a discovery is fabulous,” confides one of the witness workers. of the discovery at Heute.

According to Austrian law, anyone who discovers treasure on someone else's property is obliged to share it with them.
