After several days of celebration at his home in Cély-en-Bière, the 56-year-old comedian had gotten behind the wheel of his vehicle, under the influence of drugs. He nevertheless wanted to talk about the nightmare he has been experiencing since the accident. “Before, I worked, I earned money, I had friends, I enjoyed with my family on weekends, I played football with my children. Today I don’t have many friends anymore, I don’t want to go out, I’m at home” he said.

In 2019, Pierre Palmade had already been convicted of “use of narcotics”, and is therefore in a situation of repeat offense. The Melun prosecutor, Jean-Michel Bourlès, declared that the actor faced “a sentence of 14 years of imprisonment and a fine of 200,000 euros”.
