No peaceful stroll near greenery. On Thursday November 21, 2024, Météo placed on yellow alert for risks of rain-flooding and strong winds.

Gusts of wind that could reach 120km/h et 110km/h are expected at Teste-de Buch and Soulac-sur-Mer in the afternoon. They should reach 85km/h in Bordeaux.

Closed parks and gardens

Bordeaux town hall has already taken measures in view of the weather risks. Thursday, November 21, the city’s parks and gardens “will be closed all day,” indicates the town hall on X (formerly Twitter).

The reopening of these places will take place “gradually” on Friday morning.

Tuesday, November 19, Gironde had already been placed on yellow alert for risks of wave-submersion and gusts of wind.
